Marta Barcikowska
Martha Barcikowska’s prints and photography are a very special pleasure. Her brand of eccentric image making combines drawings, photography and typography to make completely original collages illustrating everything from cups of tea right up to unicorns! Based in Galway, Marta is inspired by this colourful city, home to many artists. She always keeps her camera ready for a photo opportunity and listens out for a new hilarious phrase to illustrate. Literature plays a strong role in Marta’s work and references to poetry and drama can be found throughout her portfolio. We can’t wait to see what she does next!
