Homebound is a Dublin artist and designer, working since 2014. Painting large abstract canvases formed a baseline for Homebound; bright, immediate oils feature in his portfolio. His digital illustrations show us that he has interests of a true Dubliner, namely history, literature, music and humour. A series of 1916 Rising prints featuring Irish rebels, Joyce quotes and historic map illustrations combine with more contemporary music and literature references. Always slick, colourful and cool, Homebound’s images are a pleasant mix of historic subjects and modern design.
